Here is the middle of my progress with my soft sculpture piece. Along the back side is a hidden zipper to put secret items in. It is roughly 3 feet tall and 3 feet long. The part of this process that I am most looking forward to is painting it. I haven't decided what type of pattern will go on it yet but it will be colorful and show influences of Central American imagery(Oaxacan carvings).
The body is fabric and stuffing, with armature and the legs are wood. The legs and antlers will be painted white to match body.
