Looking back - Documenting

Sketch.

Jig for the Chairs since I had to make more than one.

Beginnings of the frames of the chairs.

Mocking up the chair frames with the wooden back and seat.

The chairs in process.  I am addings the 1/4" steel rod for aesthetics and for structure/strength of the frame.

Putting my table together.  I fabricated the legs the same way as the chairs.  Starting with a simple but elegant frame then adding the 1/4" rod for aesthetics and strength.  However, I made these legs separate from each other for the reason of being able to break the table down to a manageable travel/shipping size.  Each leg is slid into the bottom of the table top brace then only needs one bolt to hold it in.

This version was actually revised because the steel structures were cutting too far into the leg space area.
